Minchan Kim

Hi there 👋 I’m Minchan Kim, a Ph.D. candidate in Data Science at SNU, advised by Prof. Hyunwoo Park at the DIAL Lab. Previously, I received my B.B.A. & B.S. in CS and M.S. in Data Science from SeoulTECH with Prof. Hakyeon Lee.

My research is about learning from relations and feedback: how models learn from the structure that connects entities, and from the signals (preferences, rewards, environment responses) that tell them whether a decision was good. I study this question in three settings: graph learning, recommender systems, and AI agents.
